i hope you are having a good weekend. when a bunch of plans didn't pan out, my saturday turned out to be pretty quiet. i didn't quite know what to do with myself. i did some staring out the window with a glass of wine. and then i clipped a bunch of big, beautiful basil from our patio garden. which i processed into pesto. but holy moly! way too much garlic! (as i was peeling the ninth clove, a little voice in my head said "TOO MUCH," but my fingers kept peeling). it was nice anyway (my breath maybe not so nice).
